Brave on laptop (endeavouros), Orion on my iphones, Vanadium on my pixel, Cromite on my nothing 1.

Thank god for raindrop.io to keep all my bookmarks centralized!

I don’t see why you have Vivaldi listed for desktop, but not for Android. Anyway, Vivaldi is a hard browser to replace on Android or desktop really. I’m hooked.

Didn’t know about raindrop.io. I may have to give it a try.

Other chromium-based browser for Android

You should’ve included Vanadium which is what most GrapheneOS users would use.

Just a heads up. It’s not E2EE, meaning its operators can see all your bookmarks.

Too bad I can’t select two daily desktop browsers. I use two (Mullvad browser and Brave). I can’t select my smartphone browser either because it is not listed (Vanadium).

Desktop
-Default: Mullvad
-Secondary: Brave, ungoogled-chromium

Android
-Default: Firefox focus
-For watching Youtube: Brave

iOS
-Default: Safari
-For watching Youtube: Brave

I realised after the fact I forgot to include it. I guess the other Chromium-browser choice will do it, but if you selected this for something other than Vanadium, please share.

@Cincinnatus sorry for that. Did you select other chromium browsers then?

@mangomango I considered making this multiple-choice, but the issue is some people only use one browser, so if there is optional multi-choice, then it’s not fairly weighted.

I am curious about ‘other Firefox-based browsers’, is it only WaterFox/LibreWolf or do you use something else?

Zen is the big one you missed, the folks on r/browsers love it for its customization.

Thanks for that. Something else I was unaware of.

Yes, I did

I use Vivaldi for Desktop and Mobile. The customization is amazing for my workflow and I like what the company has done over the years.

Vivaldi on both linux desktop and Android smartphone.

I don’t own a desktop anymore but on my android phone i used a mix of vivaldi nightly and firefox beta. Ff on android used to be super annoying with constant reload but it got a lot better since 2-3 updates ago.

Firefox with Betterfox user.js and Vanadium (the GrapheneOS/Privacy guides user base truly is a circle) on Android.

Which best desktop browser do you think about for logging in social media/GAFAM accounts : Mullvad ; Brave ; Firefox ; something else ?

Maybe based chromium browsers for a security supplement…

Is it possible to allow multi selection as I use different browsers on the same platform?

For those who selected other Android browsers, you can now select Vanadium or Vivaldi.

  • Vanadium
