Hi, apologies if I may sound paranoid but I have OCD. So, back when I was in high school I used to write dark stories as a hobby; I used to have multiple accounts tied to an email with my name and part of my surname; said email was involved in multiple data breaches and my passwords were super generic, things like birthday or other things. After starting caring about privacy those are the things I did:
-I deleted old accounts
-removed old projects from the wayback machine
-never used the same nicknames
-changed email to protonmail
-every account has a dedicated alias email
-random passwords, always
-deleted social media as a whole
-removed my info from the whitepages
Also, I would like to point out that my name and part of the surname i put in the email are super generic; by searching it I can find hundreds of people who aren’t me. Realistically speaking, how high are the chances of someone connecting the dots to the real me? What are the chances of someone finding me? Am I being paranoid?
