I just wanted to say thank you to this community. Most people in my life, and the general public really dont care about privacy, whether it be for convince or a lack of awareness and understanding. I’ve been labeled as paranoid and suspicious by many, but finding this community has made me feel less alone in this fight. My fear is that communities like this won’t last forever due to the increasingly restrictive laws being passed, but I’m glad a place like this even exists on the internet. So thanks for creating a space where we’re able to freely express privacy concerns without judgment!

We are so glad that you joined us. Don’t worry about the naysayers in your life; ultimately, there is NOTHING wrong with taking care of yourself first. You are never paranoid or suspicious for caring about your digital footprint.
Perhaps one day, you can convince them to make some incremental steps to improve their situation. But hey, as long as you’re feeling safe…all is well.

We’re just normal people who no longer have blinders on and are aware/mindful to not continue succumbing to the Stockholm syndrome of big tech. And don’t let anyone else try to convince you otherwise.
There is still sanity in the world, just harder to find.
