An year back or so, I stumbled upon a privacy enthusiast’s personal website (it was a basic html type) where he narrates a fictional use case, and starts by saying that his house got burnt in a fire and hence all his electronic assets along it, and then goes on to narrate his whole nightmare of having a perfectly private and secure thread model even with perfect backup systems, which fails him to get back his digital life and persona. It was a long, long, long post and covered a lot of downside of being an extreme privacy maniac, filled with technical jargon’s.
