Bitwarden scrubs ‘Always free’ and ‘Inclusion’ values from its website as longtime execs step down

And every time you log out (or get logged out) of a session or there’s a software update, the api key gets dropped so you have to go locate it and re-enter it every time across every installed Bitwarden instance. It’s far more than just annoying and one of the many, many reasons I gave Bitwarden the flick.

2 actually seems particularly absurd considering Bitwarden’s entire point is to securely and persistently manage secrets, so you would think they’d be able to figure out saving an API key.

Amazingly dumb and so simple to fix. Yet, like most Bitwarden issues, here we are after an eternity of community pleading for things to get fixed.

Not quite, the community is not necessarily opening up GitHub issues in their respective repositories and receiving direct feedback from the developers themselves.

The team is working on synced user settings to reduce the friction there, great feedback none the less!
