Turns out, it's possible to use Proton Pass aliasing with Bitwarden

I have been using Bitwarden for a very long time, and my entire family and company has been using it as well (including some tech illiterate people). I’ve enjoyed the aliasing service of Proton Pass but did not want to migrate over because everyone else would struggle with a new service.

Just found out you can use API keys from Simple Login to use it as the default username generator in Bitwarden however. Wanted to share it here, as I never would have even thought this was a possibility!

Technically you’re using SimpleLogin aliasing and not Proton Pass with Bitwarden. It’s a small distinction but important for accuracy of what you’re describing.

And yes, this has been possible for years now.
