AnonAddy vs. SimpleLogin

There absolutely is. Proton told me as much themselves. Just because you were able to create multiple aliases for the same website doesn’t mean it’s allowed. I am sure some people were able to create and manage more than one free Proton account, but it’s not allowed.

I don’t know about you, but I have been using aliases for years. Long before Proton Pass or Simple Login existed. So when I signed up to Proton Pass Plus it was not to create aliases for the first time. It was to replace the hundreds of aliases I have with another provider. Aliases I have for existing online accounts I’ve had for many years.

So if I have 3 Instagram accounts, for example, I am not going to wait a day or a week to replace each alias I have for each account. I have hundreds and hundreds of online accounts, and there are many websites for which I have multiple accounts. I need to be able to replace the email addresses on those accounts quickly on the same day.

You seem to not believe me. Ask Proton Support. Ask them,if it’s true that they only allow one alias per third party website, and ask them to get confirmation from their superiors if they tell you otherwise.

As I’ve said, I have had multiple lengthy interactions with them. My exhanges with Proton Support about this specific issues lasted months. MONTHS! It’s not allowed. And I don’t want to take the risk of exploiting loopholes if it means I could lose my account. I already got a warning.
