Hello those of you living in the US,
I am wondering what an ideal US privacy bill would look like if it were being drafted today. I am hoping that those who respond have competent legal or political knowledge on how bills or laws in general work. Though do feel free to share your thoughts regardless.
On a related note: I found two bills hopping around in Congress that I thought would be nice to share. What are your evaluations of these bills? Are they decent? Do they fail under certain circumstances? How all-encompassing are they for achieving the privacy community’s goal of a privacy-respecting society? etc.
