Windows debloating

What’s in your guy’s opinion the safest most reputable debloater?
Im thinking the ctt tool.

There are way too out there these days. But I would choose some of the more popular one. CTT’s tool is great. But there are others too. They are all FOSS so if you are technically savvy, you can see for yourself.

But I only recommend using those that are actively maintained.

So its not “opsec” or security risk to use it thru powershell every once in a while i dont want mr chris spyin on me…

https://privacy.sexy is always an option.

That’s why its best to always only use trusted ones. CTT’s tool is not spyware. He and his tool can and should be trusted. There are others too that are popular and trustworthy but you’ll have to do as much research as you can to make your own conclusions.

So, no - once you have done your due diligence on the tool you plan to use, it should not be an OPSEC issue. These people making the tools are like you, who want privacy and security on their PCs that MSFT doesn’t provide as they want it. So, they make the tool that does that for everyone. Its FOSS.

Ctt recommends the use of o and o shutup though and thats microsoft software.

Yes. That is also another great tool. And that’s not not MSFT software. It’s another app you can download for free.
