I am a total newbie to cryptocurrencies. I have a Monero wallet on Cake Wallet and I created a new address for it on the desktop app. However, the new address is not showing on the mobile app.
Is that normal?
How do I make sure all my addresses are synced?
Are you using the same wallet on each device? Or did you make new wallets on each device?
It’s the same wallet on both devices.
It’s been a while since I’ve used Cake Wallet. But my best guess is that it’s for privacy reasons. History is stored on device and not saved on a server so that’s more privacy friendly.
But you can always email Cake Wallet support to get a more definitive answer.
I don’t think that is the case because I have multiple addresses for the same wallet, and all the other ones show up on both devices.
Not sure if they work on weekends, but I will definitely do that.
