Advice needed on issue with transferring cryptocurrency from Cake Wallet to Pheonix Wallet

Hi all,

I am trying to move my Bitcoin funds from Cake Wallet to Pheonix Wallet but am unable to. I am using the right network (not Lightning) address in Pheonix to receive from my Cake Wallet but it gives me an error in Cake Wallet saying “Wallet address must correspond to the type of cryptocurrency”. I don’t know what to do.

Anyone knows anything about this or can help me? I really appreciate it.

Issue resolved.

For some reason, I had to use the Legacy address within Pheonix to receive from Cake Wallet. Hence the discrepancy.
