It is hard to know if the tool is added to recommendation recently.
So tagging them ‘new’ for certain range(e.g.1 week) would be convenient for PG users.
Plus: tagging ‘updated’ when description updates would be nice too.

Unlikely to happen as it would require us then doing additional work to remove the tag at a later date. Probably best to just look at the change log on the releases page. Generally things which are added or removed are in bold.

Not sure, if you implement a listed on date attribute.
When this is less than x days ago it shows the label else it does not. I don’t think this should have your priority but maybe accept a PR from OP?
