Is there an online platform that you use to shop and sell used items?
Removing the fact that you probably won’t have total privacy in such transactions because you will very likely share your phone number for an in person encounter. Which online service can be trusted to perform second hand business?
I have always used r/hardwareswap for used electronics and had nothing but good experiences doing that.
Some common sense is needed but typically the chance of a scam lowers the higher verified trades count of the user. PayPal, for all its issues, is pretty good about refunds if something does go wrong, assuming you followed the rules and did the transaction using an invoice.
