Reminders Management App Looking For Suggestions (Android)

Hey,

I’m looking for an Android app to manage my subscriptions. I want to track them in a checklist with reminders and see the price and due date for each one.

I am looking for an open-source, private, end-to-end encrypted, or local app.

I’ve tried Lunatask, Notesnook, and Standard Notes, but I can’t easily set up this kind of checklist with notification reminders, in a nice UI and with good accessibility.

Here’s the features I am looking for:

  • Custom reminders for subscription dates and times.
  • Notifications with a “before due date” reminder, like 5 or 10 days beforehand.
  • A checklist showing all subscriptions, their due dates, prices, the total cost of all subscriptions in the list, and whether they’ve been missed or completed, as well as all past completed ones.
  • Tags and sections, like for credit cards, entertainment, streaming apps, and so on.

It’s cool if not all the features listed above are in the app; that’s just a basis of what I’m looking for.

P.S. Maybe Ente could make an app called Ente Remind that’s included in the “Ente subscription,” letting you create recipes, grocery, and bills/subscription lists. You could receive notifications for all your reminders, like subscriptions, due dates, and random checklists, etc. There could be a free version starting with a user being able to create four lists. @vishnukvmd

Yes, this one works well.

Though Ente design language and cross platform compatibility would be awesome to see should the decide to make something of the sort.

Ente has become the new proton where they need to make apps for everything (JK).

If you want to try a good app to manage finances and subscriptions, you can’t find anything better than https://cashewapp.web.app/

Thanks for sharing! Cashew looks amazing as a advanced budget tracker, but that was not what I was looking for. I was just looking for a simple reminder app, so I am going to go with the first suggestion as it’s looks closer to what I was looking for (Though it does not have a way to add a grocery or recipe reminder, the UI is simple to use, which I like.), as it is not a full-on advanced budget app but has some simple budget functionality. But I am going to download Cashew as well to try it out, so thanks again!

:joy:

I think it would actually fit Ente’s design philosophy: a simple reminders app with a little subscription tracking, grocery list, recipes, etc. Nothing crazy like Cashew. It would also provide more value to the Ente subscription.

I also just like Ente’s UI design, which is to be minimal.
