The fundamental issue imo is that Simple Login is still technically its own separate service. I really wished Proton properly integrated SL into Pass or made it into a proper Proton service like Proton Aliases so that it could all be under one platform. Their hide-my-email alias service is confusing to me. All of this is confusing to me, and I feel like I have to manually try out the features in order to understand how they all work, which should not be the case imo.
On a separate note, does anyone know if we need to connect a paid Proton account to SL in order to use hide-my-email aliases? Or can we use it without SL? I want to generate a random alias in Pass like how we can in SL, but Pass just prompts me to manually name it instead.
