Looking at the new version of Privacytests.org (released in the past few days it seems) and on the iOS browser page, there’s a section “Tracker content blocking tests” and Safari (default settings) fails every item on the list. Does anyone know if UBlock Origin Lite addresses those items or those sorts of items? I’m guessing it does but I’m not sure how to test.
The browsers that don’t fail the majority of those tests all come with an ad-blocker by default with the same basic blocklists as ublock origin / lite.
uBlock Origin Lite is still more limited than uBlock Origin. But I don’t have much reason to think that it would fail those tests. I’m not sure that there’s a good way to test them though.
