Looking for an app like readwise and came across an app called omnivore (https://omnivore.app/).
It FOSS and in their privacy statement they say “TLDR: Omnivore does not sell your data, we store your data on our servers so it can be accessed via the web and synced to devices. We use a limited set of analytics and logging tools to ensure the service is functioning and to debug issues. We use email to contact you, send you marketing messages, and send you in-app messages (but you can always opt out of our emails).”
I dont see any E2EE, guess that they could know what you are reading and your highlights but thats normal i guess.
Any opinions for this. probably a good for pdf highlights.
