The bastardization of an operating system. Have they finally gone off the deep end? Where do they think the industry is going? Cause it sure ain’t where they want it no matter how hard they try to rewrite the narrative of personal computing or what it’s supposed to be or how it’s supposed to be.
This has to be evidence that big tech really lives in their own personal fantasy bubble. Exhibit A was Meta and the monumental failure of the metaverse. And now this. I’m sure there are other examples too.

Also, a huge sign of relief I do not use Windows and thankful to myself for learning to use and adopt desktop Linux a couple of years ago. I also love my Mac even more.
At this point, I just have to believe that it’s enterprise that’s keeping them afloat. The vast majority of people I know use a MacBook day to day for everything. I absolutely cannot comprehend how Microsoft thought that piling garbage software on top of garbage hardware was going to make them any more popular. If you go online, the mainstream discourse is people whining about Apple not delivering Apple Intelligence, and Nvidia raising their prices to incredible heights…yet their market share continues to cast a larger and larger shadow.
Microsoft is out there listening to the loud minority of their tech sphere, which is even dumber than listening to the loud minority of consumers.
