Microsoft Considers Scaling Back on Consumer-Facing AI

Microsoft's aggressive and controversial AI products may soon be reigned in to be less obnoxious, or potentially gone away with entirely in some cases. That's according to unnamed sources who spoke to Windows Central.

If they aren’t ā€˜considering it’ then Microslop has to be one of the most stupid companies in history. They don’t understand what we want from an operating system. If a customer needs AI it can be installed on a per user basis. Windows 7 offered a better user experience. The perception that Windows 11 is ā€˜free’ and the factory default on new computers is the only reason anyone uses it.
