Leaked ChainAlysis Video About Deanonymizing Monero Users

A leaked ChainAlysis (a blockchain survellience company) video shows their methods/attempts to de-anonymize Monero users.

Apparently this is not really deanonymizing any transactions, if I understand it correctly they’re just using malicious nodes to track IPs and try to correlate it to transactions.

Simple solutions:

  1. Use a VPN or Tor (to hide your IP address)
  2. Connect to a trustworthy node or run your own node

so if they have access to the ISP’s logs, I am doomed.
