I think calling Montero untraceable is a slight exaggeration. Incredibly hard to trace? Yes. Designed to resist tracing? Also yes. Impossible? We don’t know about what the future holds for us yet. Right now, fingerprinting is one of the few ways an investigator can examine Monero.
