Introducing Bitwarden Cupid Vault to securely share (and unshare) passwords with loved ones

Not too interested myself but maybe some people might enjoy that feature if already using Bitwarden. :hugs:

Not sure if it can also work in self-hosted mode tho, haven’t gotten to check that part.

I don’t think you need it for self-hosted mode. It sounds like it’s just an abstraction over Organizations with a 2-person member limit for free accounts. Not so much a new technical feature as exposing an additional limited existing feature to the free plan. If you self-host you can just use Organizations directly with no limits.

Very cool nonetheless, and surely helpful to people on the free plan who want to improve their password hygiene when sharing things.

I’m very stranger to Bitwarden myself but felt like sharing yes.

Not a lot of positive stuff around so here we go! :rainbow:

Thats superb. While i don’t have anyone to share my logins with, many people with spouse etc would benefit from this being available on all plan. Hopefully with the recent price hike they could hire more dev to bring more requested feature. I’ve been waiting forever for edit history on all entry ala keepass.

Yeah as far as I can tell this isn’t a new feature, just a specific usage of existing free features. That said, I can see the benefit of this setup with a partner, especially if you want to be able to separate cleanly
