Password Manager for Banking

Have been using Bitwarden for a while now and pretty happy with the service. Have also tried proton pass along with my mail account more recently.

My query is if any or all or most of you are using bitwarden / proton pass to store your banking passwords?

Somehow, I have a hesitation on this front alone. Do other people share this apprehension of putting banking passwords on an online tool.

I have some of my companies banking passwords on KeepassXC.

Thoughts?

Both Bitwarden and Proton Pass are trusted password managers. There is no issue putting all your passwords into them.

Well that and tbh i don’t know about your bank but i find chances of them getting hacked a lot more likely than Proton or Bitwarden.

My bank uses five digit PIN code to access the account, and some weird PhotoTAN method for extra security but that is it. I think using a password manager would be like discovering fire or wheel for those banking people

Zero apprehension - actually I have apprehension if the credentials aren’t in my password manager.

20+ year Keepass user here. But do have backups/exports in safe places and try some scenarios, such as, phone is at the bottom of a lake, or raging block fire consumes your residence. No matter if your passwords are in a Keepass database, zero knowledge encryption at Bitwarden or Proton, or saved within your web browser.
