I’m currently using YouTube in a PWA via Brave Beta on Android. It takes me to the home (algorithmic recommendations) page by default. I want it to take me to the Subscriptions page instead.
Is there any way to change the default page in the PWA? Any way to disable the home page entirely?
This is the last algorithmic feed I have on my phone and I’d love to get rid of it.
Are you not able to make a PWA from the subscriptions page instead? Or does it still default to the other page? Far as I know, that’s the only way to set it but I have not tested this myself.
PWAs are not a simple link so no, you can’t point to a specific page unless YouTube has an option for that.
My thought is that this would be done via a Brave Shields filter. A bunch of YouTube-specific ones already exist, but none that I saw that would get rid of the homepage out redirect it to the Subscriptions page.
