I use “magdeburg.jetzt” in the metadata hell that is the Matrix. Is there a server with better privacy than the one I use?
Best Matrix server is always going to be the one you self host with all the right privacy and security settings per your threat model.
Second best is to use the one that’s hosted by a trusted entity online. So, I suggest finding one you can trust if you don’t or can’t self host.
I think that’s literally what they’re asking hehe… I’m also curious to know. Agree on self-hosting but most people myself included can’t do that.
They are literally not asking for second-best.
