Can anybody recommend me some homeservers that:
Keep minimal logs (Only part of the IP address is kept, hashed, or otherwise not fully accessible to the person who is running the homeserver and all other data is minimized to a very high extent).
Don’t block Tor.
Don’t censor publicly available communities.
That would be your own homeserver.
Not meant as a snarky answer but how can you possibly be sure “someone on the internet”'s homeserver admin is not logging, selling data to the feds etc. or even just messing it up by mistake.
What can malicious matrix homeserver owners see?
Your IP and all of your metadata and everything you write in unencrypted rooms.
what metadata is created in private chats and in general?
I mainly use Matrix for communities, not for divulging personal info.
