Which Countries has laws that forces VPN to log info?

I was listening to this great interview: https://youtu.be/KzkQKB9msUI?si=qeaZzY99X8wrYK-X&t=2302 and Vecsei from IVPN was saying that some countries like Russia and India (but not sure about it) had laws forcing VPN servers and data centers to log information.
As far as I know, these laws are common for telecomms providers, which is where VPN normally shine and why you want to hide from your ISP.
Does anyone have more information on which countries have those laws? Do you know where I can find those laws? I’m guessing the UK might be trying to pass this kind of law with their attempt at banning VPNs preventing their age verification shenanigans?
Also, I’m guessing that if you are using an exit node in Russia/India, the law doesn’t really matter has the only log that is kept will be that some VPN server is trying to connect, so you are still private vpn-wise (excluding browser fingerprinting and other topics I’m probably missing).
I’d love to be educated on this topic. Finding information about jurisdiction is just a mess of random integers Eyes everywhere (I stole that from windscribe).

The only one I can specifically name is the 2022 CERT-In Directions, particularly part (v), of India. Similar directives probably exist in other countries like Russia and China. Perhaps someone else here can provide further details about those jurisdictions.
