What's in your bag?

Curious what everyone here EDC’s in their backpack.

To make this more relevant to PG:

  • If you carry a laptop, is it a dedicated travel laptop that is blank/minimal?
  • Or maybe you choose to carry zero devices that can store data?
  • Do you go all out with a whole backpack lined with faraday/EM blocking material?
  • Anyone carry a Toughbook or similar rugged machine?
  • Anyone have a fun yagi-like setup in their bag for long range wifi?

I’d personally encourage the throwaway option for responses.

I’ll start:
I keep it basic with a backpack and it is mostly focused on just sustaining my person, so things like snacks, alternate/spare clothes, some cleaning wipes/tissues, just an iPad, and a book to read.

No backpack for me, haven’t used one in years.

As far as privacy stuff:

A Pixel 6a with GrapheneOS.
I always make sure there is cash in my wallet.

I tend to keep a backpack in my car that’s essentially an overnight bag, has a set of clothes, a trauma/first aid kit, all the charging and dongle accessories I need, a few useful tools, a dob kit, and either a Macbook or ipad depending on which I’m using more at the time. There’s a few other misc items as well.

This is my current EDC that I carry everywhere I go.

Bag: Tomtoc Aviator T33 1.5L Sling

On the outside of the sling I hang a heroclip from one of the “anchorpoints” or whatever you call them.

Inside the outer pocket is my pocket reliever, which contains:

Jibbon Key Organizer in black leather.

A nailclipper, matte black.

JBuds Mini Earbuds, black.

Fischer Space Bullet Pen, matte black.

The main pocket:

Pixel 9 Pro Fold in a Spigen Slim Armor Case, black. (With an adhesive magring on the back, also black)

Microsoft Arc Mouse, black.

Dacota ProX X10F+ Foldable Keyboard, black.

Moft Magsafe Foldable Tripod, black.

Anker 315 67w wallcharger, black.

USB-A to USB-C datablocker, black.

USB-C to USB-A datablocker, black.

USB-C to USB-C datablocker, black.

USB-C to Lightning adapter, black (for when my girlfriend comes along).

Anker 1-to-2 USB-C cable, grey :sob:

And the close-to-the-body-pocket:

Tony Perotti Slim Leather Cardholder, black.

A keyring with a Yubikey and an analog 2FA-sorta codegenerator, which you need to access goverment sites, banks etc. here in Denmark, since the app doesn’t work with GrapheneOS.
