Hey, I recently saw guides like in PG, techlore and anonymousplanet. I would like to find more of privacy content like that, even more advanced, what do you recommend?
There are posts on this forum discussing this. Please research and read up. This has been answered more than once before.
Just don’t follow or trust Rob Braxman. He is a fake.
can you send link to this topics or what phrase you enter in search? “guides” is pretty common but not certainly for that thing
Well, start by searching privacy advocates - that also speak about things related to privacy, security and technology in general at times that I believe are related to your digital freedoms and what privacy at large is about.
But here’s a list to start you off. They are not all guides but privacy resources for you keep learning and reading more:
- Privacy Guides
- Techlore
- The New Oil (website and videos)
- Naomi Brockwell (videos)
- @Carey’s Firewalls Don’t Stop Dragons (podcasts, write ups, books)
- Mental Outlaw (on YT)
- Michael Bazzell’s Intel Techniques (website, podcasts, and books)
- ChrisTitusTech (videos, websites, FOSS tools)
- Select videos of SomeOrdinaryGamers
- Louis Rossmann (videos, comsumerrights.wiki, right to repair advocacy, etc)
- Surveillance Report (weekly video podcasts by Techlore and The New Oil)
- All Things Secured (for info for those with low threat models)
Thanks, i really like mental outlaw too
This might be an interesting thread to look through as well…
So big lists. thanks guys
In addition to those already mentioned: EFF, 404 media and the guides of Freedom of the Press Foundation.
The first two were already mentioned in the link above, but not everyone might go there.
The Freedom of the Press Foundation is more focused on journalists, but many guides are suitable for everyone.
