You can find bunch of recomendations on lowendtalk forum, ussually people discuss server side things there. Pretty technical community there, what I used so far is bitlaunch but it’s pretty pricey in my opinion.

I was prioritizing Icelandic servers for a bit because they have some of the best data privacy laws in the world. Well, they’re supposed to, at least. I am not a lawyer, so I kind of have to take the word on that from others.
I was using https://1984.hosting for a bit, but they had an issue one Saturday morning with a data drive getting too full, which crashed several of the VPSs, including mine. I opened a ticket, but never heard back until the following Monday. They apparently only work on weekends for emergencies, which does not include servers going down.
I’ve moved to https://flokinet.is and have been very pleased with their service overall and with the timeliness of their support responses. Call it a feature or a bug, but they don’t accept American credit cards, so I pay in BTC.

I had the same issue as GolCor with 1984. Their support is not that good. I have heard they have very few staff members, and they do not work the weekends. I needed a backup sent of my website, and I waited 3 days, and they sent me a year old backup… ?
I have tried https://orangewebsite.com as many, its pretty solid, but its still pretty expensive.
I think my favourite today is https://packetra.com
I found them on the kycnot website that someone talked about above. I had to use their support and appearantly its 24/7 every day of the year and this guy eemeli that helped me really knew his stuff. Like really knew what he was talking about. If you like Iceland then I like OrangeWebsite, but Packetra I would use for Switzerland. I think they also have servers in Finland or something. I have the Switzerland ones.
