Did not find any international media reports yet.
But TLDR: WeTransfer changed their TOS in way that they claim to own anything you upload and will use it for training of AI. After social media reports they removed the AI from the wording but they do still claim to be allowed to use the data.

Curious…
What could be a good and safe replacement of WeTransfer for organisations who share large files regularly?
I did see that page, but a Tool like Send on different instances gives doubts about usability for an organisation and her clients. So I wondered if there would be something different payed or free.
Tresorit would be an option. It has a lot of business oriented features for file sharing. It is a recommended cloud storage provider here. Not sure why it isn’t also listed under file sharing.

Well organizations can setup an instance or pay someone to do so. Or just get a subscription for any cloud really…
Or take something like Zivver.com for commercial stuff.
WeTransfer was never the answer really. No e2ee, strange TOS.
