Its a bit unreasonable and much to expect to be able to replace all apps you find valuable to FOSS alternatives. Banking Apps. They want your browsing habits and other metadata. I should keep it on a separate phone at home with no other apps. I don’t think it matters much if it’s iOS or Android at this point. Its a bit too much but I think is the sane way, albeit a bit pricey.

I don’t install any proprietary apps and instead use the web apps. Limited permissions which you can control from a browser. Not every app has a web app though so YMMV.
