It may be too soon to do so, but I wonder if you guys can also address Em leaving Privacy Guides. I imagine that there would have been an official announcement some time later, but seeing as there are none I wonder if this can be addressed in the livestream somewhere. She has confirmed that she was laid off due to a lack of funding (which goes to show how important donations are!).
Are there any goals or plans you guys have for ensuring good financials to maintain your current employees? For example, do you guys plan to make more merchandise? Do you guys plan to up the production quality for YouTube content? Your current videos get around 1k-10k views per, but more views ultimately mean more revenue. Have you guys reached out for grants? Are sponsorships on the table? Do you guys intend to make more members-only content to incentivise membership?
What was the decision behind choosing which staff to let go? Are there plans for hiring Em again once the financials allow for it (as long as she is also available for hire)? or do you guys plan on hiring someone else? Did you guys know you guys would have to let someone go for some time? or did it come as a shock?
