Unfortunately, I am sad to announce today that I will be leaving Privacy Guides as a full-time staff member next week, after the end of March. Some of you might already know this from my social media posts, but I wanted to write a more formal message here.
It has been an honor and a real pleasure to work with everyone on the Privacy Guides staff and team. I’m grateful that I had this opportunity to meet you all and work with your very talented team.
I also want to add how wonderful it has been for me in the past year to share my ideas and writing with the incredible community on the Privacy Guides forum.
This community is unique and precious to the privacy rights movement. Each of you, regardless of if you contribute a lot or a little, is part of a movement to defend privacy rights, in an environment increasingly hostile to it.
Together, you have incredible strength and resilience, always remember that.
Through the year, I have seen people here helping each other generously, bringing solutions to some in desperate situations, patiently taking the time to explain complex and nuanced concepts to newcomers, and supporting other members with compassion and empathy.
These are the skills we need to win this battle for privacy rights. Please never forget the power you have when you support each other.
I will be here for the rest of the week to complete a project, and you might see me later as well occasionally.
Thank you everyone for being such an amazing community to be a part of ![]()
