If you’re searching for similar work, naturally makes one wonder why leave PG (of course you don’t need to share your reasons if you don’t want to).
But will surely keep an eye out.

My preference would have been to stay if this was possible ![]()
Well this implies changes on PG’s end for some reason or something. Hmmm.
I’ll take one last chance to also thank you and praise you for your work on PG merch designs. No one mentioned this yet but worth noting.
sad to hear. I should add my voice that your work is valued and any organization will be lucky to have you. You are appreciated
Sorry I looked up all privacy related NGOs / tech news outlets that I know of within my region, they all require work in office (and not in CA). ![]()
Just to add clarification on this: My lay off was simply due to lack of funding. I would be happy to work with Privacy Guides again in the future if this becomes financially possible.
Thank you for clarifying.
And here I was hoping PG to increase the team size cause it feels like it needs it. Or at-least more can be done with more people more consistently.
Hope it does and you can come back.
Indeed. I also wish I could have stayed, and that we could have hired even more people on staff.
There is so much that Privacy Guides could do with more funding. I had great plans to build up the Activism section over the coming year ![]()
Only if mythical creatures like benevolent billionaires existed, eh?
Goes to show how important donating is.
Noooooooooooooooooooo, I am only here for your stuff!
It’s a sad thing that you’re leaving. Thank you for your great articles and videos !
Aww I’m so glad you enjoyed my work here, thank you Ryan
Maybe I will have opportunities to contribute here again later, and otherwise you can check my Mastodon account for announcements on the next place I will be ![]()
