Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up using IronFox PWA and SlimSocial. First one for general browsing and blocking ads with ublock origin, but unfortunately, fb is forcing messenger to be installed in order to chat, so that’s where SlimSocial comes. Chat there is way to buggy, but at least it works more or less.

I didn’t find a solution for a scenario when message ends up in message requests (which happens constantly) instead of inbox, as once tapped on “message requests” in SlimSocial nothing happens.

My point was that I’m not missing social media in the slightest, and that’s what I believed the Fediverse to be.

I can partially understand you.
Anyway, it’s known that it has negative effects on people.
If you can without it, that’s very good, IMO!
