I wanted to use (and test) Squawker and QuaX, but because of the difficulties that come with creating an X account over Tor, I thought, “What if I created a non‑Tor account?” I don’t really know how Squawker/QuaX works, so I can’t clearly judge the consequences. What can Twitter know about my Squawker/QuaX usage? Can creating an account without Tor defeat the purpose of these apps?
