SimpleLogin does not meet the criteria

SimpleLogin does not meet the requirements. silomails.com, an email domain provided free of charge by SimpleLogin, is not DNSSEC activated. This is against the terms and conditions of the email provider.

PG maintainers should scrutinize email domains as well as website domains.

Which requirement, specifically, are you referring to?

DNSSEC support.

Have you disclosed this to Proton? I think that would be the right starting point and see how they respond. Might just be a mistake. DNS is difficult, not because I think so but it has proven to be…

I’ve sent them detailed messages about this and a few other concerning items a while ago, but unfortunately, I’ve only received generic responses.

They also have a few odd issues, even with their main domain. Here are some online reports for example:

“store your emails”

If I’m not mistaked, Simplelogin doesn’t store emails at all. Email are forwarded to a proper email service where they are stored.
