This is something i’ve always had a question about but usually forgot about it by the time I was free to ask. I want a website or app that is a bit safer. Not known for sharing info and even accurate news. None of this needing to deep dive for proper answers. I use Ground news and have heard great things, but unsure with it as well. I try to make sure I cut off any info sharing as I go. Still thought it was worth seeing if theres options or does most just use RSS Readers nowadays.
Hi, you should check out this section of recommended news aggregates. They will really meet your requirements in minimizing data collection and many of them are very user-friendly and intuitive. For example, with RSS feeds you can even follow youtube channels.

I’ll have to say that using the aggregators is good and recommended but one needs to know what and where to look to consume on those RSS feeds. I think this is the kind of thing that each individual will need to find the right tune. It takes time to calibrate/curate the content.

Hmmmm, could you elaborate what you would want out of a safe website / app? Is it just general privacy and not collecting metrics?
