Thanks for all the replies. To be clear, this was not about changing VPN or VPN location, let alone to stop the VPN, nor about finding redlib instances that work. The question was more whether you just forgo reddit altogether or the way people use frontends. In the end, the copy-paste is too troublesome for me on the phone, so I installed the libredirect extension just for reddit.
