I have noticed that all the servers in my country are constantly on 100% load, and they were very slow for around a week. I also got blocked by a lot of sites.
I decided to contact Proton VPN support, and when I visited the site, I noticed that they have a live chat option. So it took me 1 minute to open the browser, visit the site, and start talking with a real person.
After I explained my problems, I was told that they would forward this to the infrastructure team. When I woke up the next day, I found that all the servers weren’t even going above 30% load. I also received an email notifying me that the infrastructure team fixed the load issue and is working on fixing the issue of sites blocking the IPs, so they will probably rotate the IPs.
It’s very awesome when a complaint from one customer isn’t just ignored. This shows that all of Proton’s customers are stakeholders, and we are the priority, not VCs or increasing shareholder value like it’s with VC-funded or publicly traded companies.
