I don’t know about this camera. But generally speaking you should at least have one of the three:
Open-source
Audited
Company with a good track record.
Last week I got to look at new end-to-end encrypted cameras from Synology which are coming out later this year, that don’t require either a NAS or a monthly subscription to use. Could be worth waiting for, because the secure camera scene is a mess at the moment.
If we have learned anything from Eufy, it is not to take claims of “end to end encryption” at face value, so I would not automatically trust this “Tenvis” brand.
