Would it be an opsec mistake to use the same keepass master pass on two pcs? (25+ character uppercase lowercase numbers special chars etc.)
It would be because if that master password is compromised on the one, It is considered compromised on the other.
What I’m confused about is why use Keepass on 2 PCs, am I missing something? Is it like the seamlessness way thing?
No, I have a laptop and a pc and i use keepass on both to keep my passwords. Keep in my mind my master pass isnt used anywhere besides keepass
I don’t think it’s a big deal really. Password reuse is mainly an issue for online accounts where password compromises are common and an attacker can remotely use the password they got from one of your accounts on another account. Since here they would need physical access to one of your devices to even try and open your password vault, I don’t think it matters so much. Obviously using two different strong passwords is even better but that’s also really inconvenient.
how would you remember it?
also you can use the same vault on both if you want.
I have great memory.
What should i use cloud wise that is private?
Don’t rely on your memory. Your memory can be damaged (brain trauma etc.) and there goes your passwords.
Bitwarden, Proton Pass
Like the user above me said, you can’t rely on just your memory.
If you want to use that try making a password manager emergency sheet.
You can browse the bitwarden subreddit for more or Password Manager Emergency Sheet - Password Bits
If you’re talking about password manager I’d say bitwarden, if you’re talking about cloud storage to sync the keepass vault file you could use any trusted cloud storage, i use proton drive.
