connection to https = strict
figerprinting = enable
No uBlock origin
any suggestion??

malware, phishing website and trackers
It will reduce chances of getting malware but won’t stop it, it won’t protect you from phishing (nothing will) and you will block more trackers if you add uBlock.

honestly brave shield is on par with uBlock I feel it is unnecessary (and in my experience that is the case)
to prevent malware preferably you wanna disable javascript, yes it breaks many sites but does help.

I’ve had uBlock catch ads and trackers which Brave shields didn’t detect.

have you tried and see without ublock enabled and confirmed or just left both on?
If i’m being honest the whole time I’ve been using brave shield no problems here, I didn’t feel like I needed ublock anywho, more importantly, brave shield can allow to expand the filters so adding some filters may help with catching those that it missed.

I still feel the filters work best with uBO and not if you manually and directly add filters in Brave. Atleast from my experience. Plus, uBO has some other functionality that’s useful unless one doesn’t want that level of customizations to websites they often visit.
