Brave - shield/ublock/cleanweb - which enable? Safing better than windows firewall?

Hello, i just set up Brave browar on desktop, but i saw 1 thing i’m not sure how to set.

  1. It have shield option with filter list
  2. It have posibility to turn on uBlock origin by extensions,
  3. I have bought Surfshark plan some time ago (when i needed only countries and didn’t cared about privacy) - it have option to add surfshark Clean Web option to browser.

So i have basically 3 options which may do simmilar things, should i add and turn on all of them or only certain from them?

  • I’m also thinking about changing Windows firewall to something Like Safing, will it be good option? And then enabling also list Like Hagezi multi pro will be best thing?

Brave Shield is very powerful, more than enough to remove ads and trackers when you follow the setup guide. ublock is not needed.

You can add more lists if you want to, but the base lists are more than enough, really. Brave Shield can even block YouTube ads, but it’s a cat and mouse game.
