They’re improving security by reducing attack surface. Smart move. Same practice GrapheneOS often follows, like their ability to altogether disable legacy cellular network protocols
my problem is
for those who want to try products that use older protocols like say appletalk protocol and say people like Retro Computing, Could they use older kernels for this
to be clear I understand removing legacy protocols to keep it secure and I agree
what I don’t agree is an outright removal on every kernel, I am more than fine if it can still be used in older kernels
