That’s the post, I agree except the “Use Linux instead of Windows & Apple”, I’m pretty sure this has nothing to do with what was passed today with chat control 1? And the post in general is very unclear that this was already happening for 3 years and not something new. I feel like the post is likely LLM written and misleading/fear mongering/doom-posting, maybe I’m wrong though.
Using GrapheneOS and Linux could be helpful if E2EE apps are blocked from being installed or if client-side scanning was implemented because these OSes wouldn’t add those restrictions.
Wait, if you read the post, it says, “Here’s what to do to stay private on the internet” before listing those suggestons. It’s not particularly about chatcontrol.

True, I wish they made it a bit clearer 
from the post alone without any other context, things seem much worse than they (currently) are
I don’t see any misleading statement. “Chat control” can only be implemented on devices that aren’t user-controlled. It can be trivially bypassed on free Linux/Android devices.

Most of their blog posts and social media is SEO LLM Garbage. Same goes for proton as well, this is nothing new.
