Is there a way to be a paid content creator anonymously

let’s say a person sells digital goods and receives monthly support from fans
is there a way to do this anonymously? especially the money withdrawal part
what I can think of:
use platforms that support paypal, get a paypal account without using real information, then buy giftcards with paypal balance and spend the giftcards
any better idea?

surely crypto is another way, but most of the buyer doesn’t have it

True anonymity is a high bar to meet while doing official financial business, one which I think is highly unlikely to achieve. I think you may have to settle for either being partially pseudonymous or simply deal with having to conduct business exclusively through anonymous cryptocurrencies, however impractical that may be.

Without any elaboration on how you’d do this, to me that sounds like fraud which is definitely illegal, risky, and (if using someone else’s info) unethical. I have heard of people creating business PayPal accounts so their names aren’t shown to others on the platform, which could give you some degree of pseudonymity.

But if PayPal and the government want to find who’s behind the account, they can obviously find you. You should also consider whether your true identity can be discovered through OSINT and if there’s anything you can do to mitigate it.

Way’s I’ve considered this in the past are several fold, and I@m a fan of layering, both OPSEC and PERSEC. PayPal under a fake name might work for a while, but after a short time you’ll be asked for ID eventually, and everything’s still traceable. Gift cards help for spending, but not so much for private income. Crypto could work if you can get anyone to pay that way — just make sure to break the link between sender and cash-out, which is very possible with some thought. Peer-to-peer swaps (like Bisq or LocalMonero) are worth looking into but take time to learn and trust. No perfect answer, but layering small privacy steps usually helps.

This question looks like „how to do tax evasion“

Anonymity
Internet
Financial transaction (that doesn’t involve anonymous cryptocurrency)

Pick two, you cant have the third one. The government made sure of it because of online KYC laws.

Only crypto and cash. The rest requires you to doxx yourself unfortunately.

And this isn’t even about fraud or tax evasion: I haven’t even found a method that allows the payment processor to know who you are but not the customer/donor. For example, if you send someone money on Paypal, their name will be visible to you afterwards.

Finally, in many (most?) countries, there are public company registers so you can’t even hide behind a company name. Exceptions may apply - I think the US allows ‘anonymous’ LLCs. But it’s probably too much effort for most people.
