Is raindrop.io private to use?

Hello I am currently finding firefox pocket(bookmark sync) alternatives and raindrop.io seems to be a good choice. But is that private enough to use? It is open source and encrypted.

I don’t believe it’s end-to-end encrypted, so I wouldn’t store anything on there that would cause problems if exposed due to a data breach, but their privacy policy is one of the better ones I’ve seen in this category of tools and they have a clear business model in selling premium plans rather than selling data.

Yep, they only say ‘SSL encrypted’ without saying if the data we store is actually encrypted. I agree to everything you said! It seems to be an interesting project though.
