Why should this tool be removed?
As I was going through Privacy Respecting Web Browsers for Android and iOS - Privacy Guides to set up my mobile instance of Brave, I realized that the “Uncheck IPFS Gateway” was not present under the “Brave Shields & privacy” settings. Moreover, it seems to have been deprecated: IPFS Support in Brave | Brave
I’m obviously not suggesting to remove Brave, but perhaps that specific setting might be dated.

Update: Local node and protocol support for IPFS was deprecated in Brave as of August 22, 2024, with version 1.69.153.
Yeah, looks like we just haven’t updated the settings since this recent change 
This is quite a shame though

Good catch! This appears to be the case for the desktop version as well. As such, I created a pull request to remove the lines about IPFS.
